11. Maintaining and improving the organization and cleanliness of the quality control lab and other quality areas.

The Role

The Repair Technician is responsible for efficiently receiving, testing, repairing, and dispositioning of company products. This role involves maintaining a clean and professional workspace, as well as keeping an accurately inventoried and organized cache of replacement parts for both legacy and currently active product lines.

Job Duties

    Prioritize activities independently based on legacy and current product repair inventory, internal and external customer needs, and the queue of returned products awaiting processing.

    Perform diagnostic testing on mechanical and electronic equipment, including but not limited to modules, controllers, frames, and auxiliary components.

    Repair, scrap, or accept products "as is" after diagnostic testing and root-cause analysis.

    Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed.

    Research and obtain necessary equipment specifications, test procedures, diagnostic information, and any required documents and guides for processing.

    Perform equipment hardware and software configurations independently as needed.

    Catalog and inventory all products returned for repair while maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient work area.

    Maintain an inventory of standard replacement parts and submit purchase requisitions to ensure minimum inventory levels are stocked.

    Lead standard and project-specific workgroups as needed.

    Follow all safety and ESD procedures to ensure personal and product safety.

    Align performance with assigned KPI goals, both individually and for the team.

    Perform additional duties as assigned.

NATURE OF WORK

SUPERVISION

Incumbent works under general direction of the Chief Plant Operator, work is performed in accordance with standard practices and previous training, with substantial independence in determining the sequence and timing of duties and in planning and organizing the work activities. Incumbent uses judgment to solve problems of detail or unusual situations by adapting methods or interpreting instructions. Instructions for new assignments or special projects usually consist of statements of desired objectives, deadlines, and priorities. Technical and policy problems or changes in procedures are discussed with supervisor. Incumbent prepares and submits weekly reports on preventive maintenance status for the supervisor’s review. 

 

Position is responsible for the immediate supervision of treatment operations staff. Are you a skilled machinist who enjoys taking a project from raw material to a finished, high-quality product? We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist III / Programmer to join our team, where you’ll work with advanced multi-axis lathes, cutting-edge tooling, and modern programming software to deliver precision parts.

What You’ll Do:

• 
  Program, set up, and operate CNC multi-axis lathes.
  
• 
  Take metal from raw stock to finished product with minimal supervision.
  
• 
  Plan and lay out work directly from customer drawings and specifications.
  
• 
  Determine proper speeds, feeds, tolerances, and machining sequences.
  
• 
  Perform setups, make trial cuts, and fine-tune adjustments as needed.
  
• 
  Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM, vision systems, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
  
• 
  Apply trigonometry and shop math to calculate complex angles and dimensions.
  
• 
  Work with modern software like Fusion360 (preferred) or Mastercam.
  
• 
  Contribute to a team environment while maintaining a strong personal work ethic.
  

What We’re Looking For:

  High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• 
  5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred (but we’re open to less with the right skills and drive).

  Strong technical knowledge of machining practices and cutting tools.

  Ability to work independently while collaborating with a skilled team.
