Job Description
Position Summary:
We are looking for a winding inserter to work in our production area manufacturing high-quality, high-reliability electro-mechanical assemblies.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Manually insert required components identified in engineering drawing.
- Confirm magnet wire continuity.
- Maintain all traceability/record keeping required by build documentation.
- Reads, interprets and understands technical engineering drawings, routers, wiring diagrams, process specifications, and quality documentation.
- Training as needed.
- Ensures compliance with the company quality system to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience\Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years minimum experience in detailed, delicate manual manufacturing work preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities
- High level of dexterity and hand-eye coordination required.
- Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, routers, and blueprints.
- Fluent in English.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment.
- Ability to understand number conversion (ohms vs milliohms vs megaohms, etc,)
Physical Requirements
- Requires alertness and attentiveness as work is very meticulous.
· Bend, lift, sit, and/or stand for long periods of time.
General Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
- Must be “ US Person” per ITAR definition.
· Work hours: M-F 7: 30 – 4: 00 pm, some overtime and Saturdays, as needed.
