Phone interviews Duties and Responsibilities
Accurate picking, packing, and shipping of material
Receive incoming shipments;Verifies for correctness
Pick orders for Assembly and Thermoforming
Handle clerical demands of the position
Ability to keep accurate records, counts, and location of parts.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure clean and safe working environment
Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure little to no accidents.
Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur to minimize safety risk.
Perform assigned warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies to ensure highest levels of safety and quality.
Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the product in the appropriate area.
Follow all visual aids with the distribution center in order maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
Contribute process suggestions to continuously improve warehouse operations
Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor to correct issue.
Fully Contribute to continuous improvement events to improve operations
Keep areas clean and organized
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.
Skills and Experience
Ability to perform work for a minimum of eight hours.
Must be Forklift Certified, Lift Certified, Electric Pallet Jack Experience and manual Pallet Jack experience.
Some computer skills desired (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook), SAP experience is a plus.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. From floor to waist and waist to floor.
Willingness to embrace the Hubbell Values and Behaviors.
Good math skills necessary.
Should be able to read, understand, and interpret a variety of drawings written in English.
Should be familiar with measuring instruments and/or equipment such as scales and pallet jacks.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
Will be responsible for picking up and moving trash, recycling, and corrugated materials.
Will need to have jobs pulled in advance and ready for assembly.
