Job description We are  excited to announce a  Sr. Account Executive  job opening! This position is remote and will be based in the southeastern United States. The Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for selling the designated business unit’ s 9-1-1 related products and services to telephony carriers or public safety entities as well as continual prospecting activities. This includes significant efforts in cold calling new sales leads for assigned business services; following the sales process from beginning to end while supporting corporate and departmental goals and values; participating in the activities related to problem resolution; establishing an excellent working relationship with clients and continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service.   We deliver technology solutions and services that provide the critical link between the public and public safety. No other connection is more essential than the one that can save a life. While nearly everyone outside of the public safety sphere takes 9-1-1 for granted,  we never will. After all, we’ re all consumers as well as suppliers of this most critical of services. We see your subscribers, employees and end users as you see them. As ordinary citizens, just like us, who might one day find themselves in need of emergency assistance from the experts— the first responders— who can help. Everything that happens after a 9-1-1 call is placed– the call routing and delivery, location determination, data management and situational data– that’ s us. It’ s essential that we execute flawlessly because every call must get through and seconds save lives. For us, it’ s personal. The responsibilities include: 
  • Selling a specific product, solution and/or service to accounts in an assigned territory and achieving a predetermined sales quota (PSAPs or Public Safety Answering Points)
  • Continually prospect activities to include significant efforts in cold calling new sales leads for assigned business services following the sales process from beginning to end while supporting corporate and departmental goals and values
  • Provide assistance and guidance to co-workers on best approaches, practices, and lessons learned
  • Participate in the activities related to problem resolution; establish an excellent working relationship with clients, continuously striving to improve the business relationship and overall level of service
Qualifications: Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing or a related field required. 
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. 
Experience 
  • Minimum 4 years increasingly responsible experience in national sales to include extensive cold calling required, preferably in the telecommunications industry. 
  • Minimum 1 year sales lead experience preferred  
  • PREFERRED EXPERIENCE with PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points) and Public Safety/911
Other 
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

Joe has extensive experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. He has worked throughout the country opening up new offices and managing multiple markets. Joe is the Regional Manager for our Southeast Region (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia).

Jos is a Navy veteran that worked in the Pentagon. He is a big sports enthusiast and enjoys living near the beautiful South Florida beaches. Joe has one daughter who is currently attending college.
