Qualifications

· Minimum 10 years’ experience related to design and construction services
· Professional level certification such as AACE CCP or CEP is preferred, but must obtain within first year of employment

· Working knowledge of project scheduling principals and software
· Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense or other federal agency cost estimating/engineering principles and best practices
· Experience working on project for DoD agencies, such as USACE, USAF, NAVY, highly preferred
· OCONUS project experience preferred
· Professional staff supervisory experience is desirable

Job Description
· Summary:
Our engineers and architects deliver facility and utility planning, design, and construction phase services around the world, including remote locations. From buildings and utilities to airfield and waterfront facilities, Our multidisciplinary expertise spans the full range of military installation projects.
Your Role:
- Reviews RFPs, plans and specifications to become familiar with project scopes
- Ensures that corporate and client required estimating procedures are followed
- Support and work with estimating/engineering/business development staff in the review of project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of primarily federal construction projects
- Perform constructability reviews and develop draft project schedules as needed
- Participate in and/or lead client presentations such as charrettes, design review meetings, and value engineering meetings
- Supervise lower level estimating staff or estimating subconsultants as needed.
