Day Shift - 7-3: 30pm M-F Sometimes weekends for OT
1. Cut and sew fabric and possibly leather 2. Operate an industrial sewing machine 3. Read and interpret shop patterns and drawings. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain sewing machines to fabricate garments - Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine specifications - Cut, sew, and assemble fabric pieces according to patterns and instructions - Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications - Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Machine Operator in garment construction or similar field - Proficient in operating sewing machines and other related equipment - Knowledge of different sewing techniques and garment construction methods - Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and sewing patterns - Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity - Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong teamwork and communication skills Note: This position is based in a warehouse setting.
