Job Description
Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead building system design of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems. This is a leadership position to establish the mechanical team for a growing healthcare focused MEP firm with a quick path to equity.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical deliverables;including construction plans & specifications.
- Coordinate with clients on project requirements and status updates.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies to understand local permitting requirements and submit permit documents for review and approval.
- Perform construction administration duties;including attending and documenting project meetings, conducting site visits, reviewing shop drawings, and assisting with the development of change order, closeout, and other construction documentation.
- Perform onsite construction observation and inspection.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 6+ years of related experience
- P.E. License
- Revit experience.
- Healthcare experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills with both internal employees and external clients.
- Self motivated

Joe has extensive experience in the staffing and recruiting industry. He has worked throughout the country opening up new offices and managing multiple markets. Joe is the Vice President of Sales and Operations for our Southeast Region (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia) and our company FSO. Joe is a Navy veteran that worked in the Pentagon. He is OSHA certified.
