Scheduler
Position Summary:
The Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules for engineering, construction, and commissioning and validation projects for clients. Works closely with Project Management and Field Staff to ensure project schedules are utilized to keep projects on task.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ability to identify tasks and activities to build a logical sequence of events to achieve project milestones.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective schedule utilizing Microsoft Project and P6.
• Facilitating multi-company interactive pull planning sessions with and implements a last planner system.
• Evaluating performance against schedule and preparing project progress reports.
• Monitor and status schedule progress.
• A good understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Communicates schedule status on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
