Job Responsibilities: •Generate and assess leads to identify potential opportunities. •Address sales inquiries and issues via phone, email, or in-person interactions;initiate sales calls to both new and existing clients. •Develop sales action plans and strategies, coordinate sales activities, maintain comprehensive records for sales reports, and establish follow-up procedures for these activities. •Engage in negotiations with clients, monitor and document sales activities, and provide follow-up updates for management. •Establish and manage a customer database, cultivate client referrals, and ensure overall customer satisfaction and positive client relationships. •Conduct quality checks on product and service delivery. •Provide product training and support. •Conduct market research, surveys, and competitor analysis;stay informed about market conditions and product developments. •Identify and participate in sales events and trade shows. •Deliver presentations on company products and services to current and potential clients. •Travel to visit prospects and customers.
Qualifications: •3+ years of experience in Sales & Customer Service. •3+ years of sales experience in capital equipment. •Knowledge or education in chemistry, chemical or electrical engineering, with an understanding of applications in academic and industrial settings (an asset). •Mechanical aptitude is a plus. •Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). •Competitive and ambitious self-starter with effective teamwork skills. •Strong sales presence and effective communication, time management, and organizational skills. •Estimated 30% nationwide travel required. •Valid Driver's License.
