Registered Nurse - Health Services
Job Description
$35-$43/hr.
This position requires candidates to be prepared to work 5 days per week/40 hours paid. Each scheduled shift is 9 hours with 8 hours paid and a one hour unpaid lunch.
Candidates must be prepared to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
A current and clear Florida registered nursing license is mandatory.
Job Tasks include:
•Follow established practices for first aid care outlined under Florida RN licensure standards and company Policies and standing orders
•Use critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities to accurately provide medical assessment and care. When appropriate, and based on the assessment of a guest's situation, refer guests to a higher level of care, such as local urgent clinics and/or emergency services.
•Work collaboratively with other roles in a Guest facing focused environment
•Multi-task in a competent, efficient manner with solution-oriented work habits in a fast paced environment
•Provide exceptional service and service recovery
•Exhibit a positive and friendly attitude
Requirements for the role include:
•Active and clear Florida Registered Nursing license
•Bachelor’s Degree
•3+ Years Nursing Experience
•BLS Certified
•Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with basic ability to work within a Microsoft Office suite of programs
•Full availability with work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts
•Ability to push, pull a wheelchair;as needed to care for Guests
•Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time to walk, lift, squat, push, pull and/or carry heavy objects, up to 30 lbs.
•Excellent hearing and ability to see, and full use of hands for patient assessment and to control, handle or feel objects and tools
Work is basic general first aid, no workers comp, no OSHA. Typical triage is heating exhaustion, nausea, fatigue, nose bleeds, etc
