Job Description
Process/Project Engineering Manager
Degreed chemical or mechanical engineer with at least 15 years’ experience in the chemical industry, preferably pine chemicals. Experience in both project and process engineering a plus. Minimum 5 years of project design and construction with working knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple discipline projects with decision making ability and supervision skills. Major duties will include the following.
a. Manage engineering contractor and general contractor activities.
b. Participate in engineering design and environmental permitting activities.
c. Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, performance standards and specifications.
d. Interact daily with management and contractors’ representatives.
e. Represent Company on the construction site(s).
f. Coordinate and monitor projects to insure compliance with schedules and project budget.
g. Lead PHR and commissioning activities.
h. Must have experience with Paper & Pulp processing, pulling out resins out of paper
