Responsibilities:
• Essential duties include reviewing pipe and piping component related calculations and material evaluations.
• Prepare and coordinate piping and valve specifications and/or material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations and perform detailed supplier bid technical evaluations and supplier document reviews.
• Candidate should have experience with ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards
Qualifications and Skills:
Basic Qualifications:
• Level One: BS degree in an engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience
• Level Two: BS degree in an engineering with a minimum of 9 years’ experience
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen, and background check.
• Extensive of ASME B31.1 and/or B31.3 piping codes
• Prior experience using an automated procurement system
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education
• Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site
Preferred Qualifications:
• EIT/PE Registration
• Previous DOD or DOE project experience
• Candidates possess the right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship
