Seeking to engage in a consulting services contract with an Operations Consultant who will be responsible for providing professional services related to business operational areas in support of the leadership team and staff in this non-profit organization. This assignment will support the organization as follows:

Will assist in organizing and streamlining the administration and compliance integrity of the Monday.Com system (a recently implemented system used as a visualization tracking, communication, and collaboration tool). This tool is used to track and share  workstreams related to our funding grants and outlines the supporting activities and deliverables for the leadership and staff of the organization. 

 

The consultant will evaluate and ensure that the system is working optimally to provide simple and straightforward tracking of updates and status to ensure the organization has transparency into the completion and progress toward ongoing organizational goals and objectives in compliance with our obligations under various grants and in delivering to the expectations of the immigrant farmers we serve and our Board of Directors’expectations. 

Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for ERP implementation projects. Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and other consultant(s) and vendors to ensure project success. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and develop mitigation strategies.

Establishing permissions, archiving protocol, map of system and infrastructure –establishing written process for changes to the infrastructure and design work to the system

Essential requirements:

This position requires at least five years of experience managing projects and streamlining processes. Must have proficiency with office software, and strong organizational and multitasking skills. 

This consultant will work in collaboration with the Monday.Com consultant/system programmer and  IT Coordinator in determining the optimal layout and operational use of the Monday.Com system. 

Will work with the user community of staff members to solicit ongoing systems and user feedback. 

The consultant will report findings and provide advice and hands-on support to the Executive Director, Director of Finance & HR, and will also collaborate with program management. Training on the Monday.Com system will be provided.

 

Past experience and familiarity with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System or Microsoft Project or other visual project management tool would be helpful.)
