Position Overview
Responsible for receiving, storing, counting, and the proper flow of materials, merchandise and equipment in and out of the stockroom.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue components for all shop orders.
- Verify and correct counts on shop orders, and all stock.
- Receive component parts into stock and fill out ID cards.
- Operate fork truck and counting scales.
- Ensure paperwork flow is punctual and correct.
- Work under supervisor s verbal and written instruction.
- Ensure that inventory is correct at all times and at fiscal inventory.
- Ensure material flow to air test is adequate.
- Instruct lesser skilled employees in stockroom.
- Work with production control to ensure proper schedule is met.

Required Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills normally acquired through a high school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Must have or be able to obtain a fork lift certification.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude toward his/her work including striving for maximum production and quality of product.
- Possess self-motivated initiative to improve quantity, quality and maximum efficiency with all co-workers.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
