Summary/Objective The Manufacturing Associate will assist members of the Operations Team by providing general assistance with a variety of tasks including daily administration of the shop and support for machine shop operations.
Essential Functions
•Adhere to Harmonic Drive Shop Employee Expectations as trained
•Provide general assistance around the shop, including technical tasks
•Shot-peen operations
•Abrasive Flow Machining
•Laser Marking
•Deburring
•Prepare and cut raw materials
•Move materials
•Assemble shop orders
•Help maintain equipment and contribute to clean production area
•Assist in various projects
•Assist in performance of routine maintenance and cleaning of shop equipment
•Other duties as assigned
Competencies
•Attention to detail.
•Ability to work with colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner.
•Good communication skills, both written and oral.
•General computer skills
Required Education and Experience
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Technical or vocational school background is helpful.
