Maintenance Manager
Job Description
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for overseeing, directing, and leading the maintenance team and the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. This position is also responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Job Duties
· Lead and direct the maintenance team and daily operations, ensuring effective support for production goals.
· Establish departmental goals and procedures aligned with company objectives.
· Prioritize maintenance activities for optimal short- and long-term outcomes.
· Motivate and develop a best-in-class maintenance team, balancing hands-on support and team leadership.
· Perform repairs, line changes, equipment installations, and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment.
· Implement policies for ongoing improvement and support future project needs.
· Complete necessary documentation and adhere to safety standards and practices.
Qualifications:
· 20+ years in maintenance management, preferably in food production;experience with electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting.
· Knowledge in AutoCAD, Allen Bradley logic, and bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
· Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
· Food Industry experience preferred
