Job Description
Machine Operators
Paper packaging company seeking machine operators to set up and run machinery to print, laminate, sheet, and convert large rolls of paper into food wraps and bags.
1st shift hours 6am to 2: 30pm.
Clean modern plant – New machines – Flexographic Printers – Converting – High speed presses – Laminator – Interfold – Automated Cartoners – Sheeters
Currently only looking for 1st shift and only those with a flexo, bag converting or similar background.
Job Duties:
Set up, run, and troubleshoots machinery
Work with large paper rolls, ink, glue, and wax
Set formers, gears, and cylinders for paper set up
Maintain levels of ink, glue, and hot wax
Maintain machine speeds and keep machine running
Troubleshoot problems
Inspect the bags or food wraps
Use tools, tape measure, wrenches, screw drivers
Requirements:
Experience with large paper rolls
Experience with packaging/converting
Mechanical aptitude and use of hand tools to set up and troubleshoot
Basic math and ruler measurements
Ability to be on their feet all day walking, bending, reaching, lifting
At least 2 years at one job doing machine operating and adjustments
Good work history
Pass ruler, math, and mechanical test
