We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, qualified candidates will be involved in every phase of the project lifecycle—from schematic design through construction. The ideal candidate will be experienced in working with a variety of structural materials (wood, steel, concrete, masonry) and have strong communication skills suited for site visits and client interaction across industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Key Responsibilities:
Support senior staff on project tasks and independently manage projects of varying size and complexity, from conceptual design through construction, in line with client specifications and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with specifications and building codes, and produce timely field reports.
Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures.
Attend client meetings and represent the company with professionalism to maintain and build strong client relationships.
Assist in preparing data for permit applications, submit documentation to regulatory authorities, and manage project documentation including change orders.
Deliver project progress updates to the lead engineer, internal teams, and clients, highlighting any potential delays, budget concerns, or issues encountered on-site.
Review plans and specifications, identify and resolve potential issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional project teams.
Proactively assess and address potential project challenges and constraints.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
1–5 years of structural engineering experience;exposure to large-scale developments and all material types (wood, steel, concrete) preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently conduct site visits and interface with field staff and clients.
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Revit, RISA, Enercalc, and STAAD is preferred—but training is available.
Working knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and structural specifications.
Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to delivering quality results that exceed client expectations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication skills.
