The Instructional Designer is mainly responsible for designing and developing Instructor-led, eLearning modules and ePolicies. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Interview and consult with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop project outline and learning objectives for the eLearning Course 
  • Work with SMEs to a create storyboard that detail instructional activities to support learning objectives for the eLearning Course 
  • Translate design requirements into functional learning modules 
  • Incorporates the use of varied interactive eLearning strategies to keep learners fully engaged and motivated to learn throughout the course 
  • Use basic graphic design principles to visually communicate ideas aside from supporting and enhancing the instructional design 

Desired Skills and Experience: 
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in instructional design, including specific experience developing interactive e-Learning 
  • Experience applying adult learning theory principles to creating eLearning 
  • Proven experience with Articulate Studio '13 
  • Experience with incorporating multiple media elements in to learning programs including audio, video, animation, simulation, and graphics 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving and fact-based decision making abilities 
  • Strong graphic design skills to create a clean, professional look and feel to the course 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and consensus-building skills 
  • Strong work ethics as well as project and time management skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player 

Required experience: 
  • Instructional Design and Development:  3 years 
  • Graphic Design: Intermediate level 
  • Articulate Studio: Intermediate level 
  • Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator: Intermediate level 
  • PowerPoint: Intermediate level
