$65-$77/hr. + Per Diem

 

This position is located at the WTP Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4x10 schedule, M-Th, 6: 30 a.M. To 5 p.M. Selected applicant needs to be able and willing to work weekends as needed. This position will be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC.

US citizenship required
Full time office/project
No remote or telework required.


JOB SUMMARY:
Reports to the WTCC Training Program Supervisor. Responsible to support the WTCC Lead Instructional Analyst with implementing the application of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) focusing on job/task analysis, objective/test question design and content development in accordance with requirement area procedures and practices. This position will support training management expectations to ensure consistent adherence to the SAT.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:
•Ensure the SAT process as prescribed in requirement area procedure is correctly and adequately implemented in the generation of ‘formal’training products required for compliance with DOE O 426.2
•Act as back up to WTCC Lead Instructional Analyst;deliver and maintain coursework that WTCC Training personnel require for qualification to perform their duties assigned as Instructional Analyst Developers (IAD’s) to include initial, continuing, and emergent content
•Analyze training requests (TREQs) for actual need of SAT process resolution
•Perform job / task analysis per the SAT resulting in the creation of, but not limited to: Master Task Lists, DIF surveys, Task to Training Matrices leading to quality training objectives and training materials (lesson plans, student guides, on the job training guides, computer-based courses, etc.) and the associated testing tools used to evaluate mastery of knowledge and/or skills
•Conduct other classroom training as requested and knowledgeable
•Perform data input and manipulation in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Vision
•Work to a production schedule meeting project and industry standards for material produced
•Support a strong Nuclear Safety Quality Culture (NSQC) by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires that the employee meet the minimum education and experience
•Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree, preferably with emphasis in either education or training (with focus on instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and testing, as well as evaluation of training programs), OR education/training that focus on instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and testing as well as evaluation of training programs, AND no less than 6 years of instructional analysis experience performed in the nuclear industry.

•In lieu of degree must have education or training that focuses on instructional analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs, AND no less than 12 years of combined nuclear and/or instructional/IAD experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•Must be able to complete and pass a drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education.
•Upon reporting, must be able to complete and pass a medical evaluation for badging purposes. Must have full mobility, be able to walk on uneven or broken surfaces (rocks, gravel, etc.). The examination includes, but is not limited to ability to pass blood pressure test, able to bend, twist, pull, push, climb, and lift more than 20 lbs.
•Must be able to obtain a Department of Energy badge for access to the Hanford Site.
•Possess the legal right to work and remain in the United States without sponsorship.
•Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Experience using the VISION training content development tool
•Experience and proficiency using Articulate software
