• Executes HR activities as assigned to them by the US HR Compliance and Quality Manager, including but not limited to:
o Liaising with HR clients on initiated activity to ensure all relevant information for timely execution is captured
o Completes tickets to initiate company's services as and when required
o Suggests process improvement updates to WSC Standard Operating Practices to support execution of superior HR service
o Provides regular progress reports / updates on activities being managed within the team
o Provide training and support to HR clients on agreed company processes, utilization of tools, etc….
o Action received unemployment claims in timely manner
o Assist with the timely completion of I9 verification activities
o Assist with initiating pre-access requests for customer site access (drug, alcohol and background)
o Assist business in organizing requests associated with customer audits
o Liaise with employees and HR to collate necessary documentation to support US immigration applications
o Addresses general HR related queries, including responses to general queries received in Global HR mailbox

Experience & Education Required:

• 4+ years’ experience in HR Shared Services or in a generalist HR role
• Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices, including current US regulations impacting employees
• Previous experience in Oil Services industry beneficial Knowledge, Skills, & Ability
• Experience with PeopleSoft or a similar HCMS, plus intermediate Microsoft Office skills (predominantly excel)
• Understanding of the HR Shared Services operating model and typical processes to initiate request for assistance on HR activity
• Strong attention to detail, time management and the ability to manage tight deadlines
• Capacity to identify special or unusual circumstances that may impact the execution of assigned HR activity, identify appropriate solutions or escalate as needed to US Compliance and Quality Manager for guidance
• Customer-focused and able to build strong partnership with HR clients to ensure timely execution of activities • Able to design routines or mechanisms to protect the confidentiality nature of employee information

Preferred: • Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.1
