Job Description
** PAY RATE: $118/hr
** 2 POSITIONS
This is a system engineering role to support Flight Management systems development on aircraft.
Engineer will support multiple Flight Management Systems (FMS) programs. The individual must have significant system engineering experience and able to understand and translate customer high level requirements to Honeywell systems requirements. Previous experience in aerospace, specifically Flight Management Systems, is highly desirable.
Real-time system engineering knowledge and experience, particularly in functional areas of Datalink, Flight Planning, User Interface, and Performance Calculation are highly desirable.
A four-year engineering degree: Aerospace or similar engineering degree with 5+ years of systems experience is required.
Onsite support and direct working relationship with other systems engineers and project engineers is critical to success. We offer a 3/2 schedule of 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. We will consider some flexibility but not full time remote.
