Financial Analyst
Job Description
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for collecting, developing, analyzing, and reporting financial data to boost organizational productivity and profitability. They will support data development, standardization, and verification, playing a crucial role in enhancing business awareness and decision-making, particularly regarding sales data and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to provide sales analytics and modeling for decision-making.
- Prepare internal reports and presentations to monitor sales performance.
- Offer financial support to key stakeholders, including the President & CEO.
- Participate in sales forecasts and budgeting, analyzing key revenue drivers impacting P&L.
- Assist in reporting GPO Contracts.
- Develop and automate key sales KPIs to enhance global sales performance.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, and revenue assumptions, investigating variances and trends.
- Monitor key sales programs and their impact on performance.
- Validate global sales results for month-end close and reporting.
- Ensure consistent reporting methodologies across the organization.
- Work in a team environment to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor sales performance metrics.
- Support the quarterly budget process with budgeting tools.
- Streamline and improve sales reporting processes.
- Assist in special projects, system upgrades, and new reporting initiatives.
- Provide support for sales and gross profit performance analysis.
- Report product line profitability and revenue forecasting at various levels.
Qualifications:
- BS in Finance or Accounting.
- 2+ years in a similar role, preferably with an international organization.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and Microsoft Office products. ERP system experience preferred.
- Experience with data management and maintaining large data sets.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required.
- Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles in a corporate reporting environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
