Staff Electrical Engineering Technician plays a key role in supporting the development of high quality engineering 2D/3D deliverables for these complex infrastructure projects. Looking for candidates with some electrical substation design capabilities for this requisition.
Under general supervision, this position performs technical tasks requiring general knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on creating and modifying electrical design drawings using advanced techniques in industry standard design tools, such as Autodesk Autocad, Bentley Microstation, and other CAD tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate required. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
· Typically a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Must be located within 50 miles of a substation office - onsite only
