ESSENTIAL TASKS AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Under general supervision, perform various mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical
assembly operations using standard manufacturing documentation
• With keen focus on quality and accuracy, ensure that all work assignments meet corporate quality
and regulatory requirements
• Alert supervisor when production documentation is unclear or incorrect
• Maintain individual work area /equipment in a neat orderly manner according to standards
including proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and
parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties
• Serve as strong team player, supporting and assisting supervisor and colleagues when
necessary
• Provide training in assembly, repair and inspection methods as required
• Maintain Kanban Stock locations
• Initiate Non-Conforming Material (NCMR) when applicable
• Comply with all work safety rules and regulations
• Recommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-tech electro-mechanical assembly environment;
previous assembly experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly
preferred
• Strong hands-on technical skills in both mechanical and electrical assembly processes
• Proficiency with all basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers,
and soldering irons
• Ability to follow written instructions or procedures such as mechanical assembly drawings
and assembly or test procedures with minimal supervision
• Must possess a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills, and
excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
EDUCATION:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical degree plus at least 3 years’ experience in
a high-tech electro-mechanical assembly environment; or equivalent combination of
education and experience
