SUMMARY

Assists in the oversight of distribution and return processes for various customers as well as provides general support for the batch records samples, commercial shipments and 3PL warehouse operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supports the receiving, storing, packing and shipping of customer’ s products, including customer returns).
- Accurately maintains stock records, record inventory movements and document transactions along with required checks.
- Responds to daily customer’ s request for shipments to their customers, prepare all requests for shipments along with shipping documentation in an accurate and timely manner and record all transactions as required.
- Executes pick, pack operations and utilizes FedEx (or) specialized couriers to process orders for shipments as instructed by customer’ s request or supervisor’ s direction.
- Count, verify and document returned products according to customer’ s SOP’ s and Returns, Reconciliation, Accountability SOP’ s.
- Follow approved established procedures (SOP’ s) on performing the receipt, distribution and return of products.
- Enter all data as required into Manual or customer’ s IVR for inventory and shipment tracking, when applicable.
- Take monthly physical inventories on all products and including customer returns.
- Ensure required lots of finished goods are released and made available for shipment to the appropriate sites/countries in advance of the first shipment date.
- Assist in the monthly billing process for each customer.
- Set trigger levels, monitor inventory levels and expiry dates of shipping components (e.G. Shippers, temp tales), ancillary supplies and ancillary drug supplies, to ensure adequate levels of inventory are available for subsequent shipment from the warehouse and depots.
- Notify Customers when inventory levels are low for customer supplied components and supplies.
- Initiate the order for ancillary supplies and components supplied by Sharp. Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Assist in the creation of the Distribution Summary for each customer for each client.
- Create Distribution Binders for each customer, for each study, to include the appropriate paperwork to ensure all approvals prior to shipment.
- Perform kit building/labeling activities when applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to four months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       Candidate must be well organized and detail oriented.

·       Individual should have a strong computer skills and experience with using Excel spreadsheets.

·       Word and other Microsoft Office applications.

·       Previous work experience in a cGMP compliant facility preferred.

·       Experience in Pick/Pack operation is a strong plus. Inventory Control systems and product knowledge with some quality control experience is desirable. Job requires the candidate to have the ability to operate a fork lift.

Have the ability to work with little to no supervision.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of this organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Able to work in a fast paced environment
