Your Role:
Qualifications
· Bachelors degree or equivalent from accredited college or university; engineering or quantity survey degree preferred
· Four to six years’ experience related to design and construction services
· Certification such as CCT, CCP or CEP is preferred
· General knowledge of construction methods and practices and well-versed in cost estimating (Mii/MCASES preferred) and construction scheduling experience preferred
· Working knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense or other federal agency cost estimating/engineering principles and best practices preferred
· Working knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles

Job Description
Summary

Your Role:
- Reviews plans and specifications to become familiar with project scopes
- Ensures that corporate estimating procedures are followed
- Support and work with estimating/engineering/business development staff in the review of project plans, requirements and specifications
- Perform quantity take-offs and pricing of primarily federal construction projects
- Perform constructability reviews and develop draft project schedules as needed
- Support client presentations such as charrettes, design review meetings, and value engineering meetings
- Supervise junior level estimating staff or estimating subconsultants as needed.
