Job Description


Responsibilities:
  • Develops construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and design narratives
  • Prepares site and roadway layouts, grading plans, and performs stormwater runoff calculations
  • Performs layout and design of water distribution and wastewater collection systems
  • Prepares designs in compliance with project codes
  • Prepare Master Development Plans and conduct engineering studies
  • Coordinates design tasks across architecture & engineering disciplines throughout the design process
  • Reviews construction shop drawings to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Engage in collaborative problem-solving with diverse teams

 

Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited institution
  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design
  • Certifications: Engineer In Training (EIT) is required, PE a plus

Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D and HydroCAD;familiarity with GIS software is an advantage
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Skills: 
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines with high-quality output
  • Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to participate in short-term international travel assignments as needed
