Work Schedule: 8: 00 AM- 4: 30 PM M - F
Position Overview
MUST HAVE CYCLE COUNTING EXPERIENCE
- The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain accurate inventory, by cycle counting, performing other miscellaneous audits and investigation of count discrepancies
- Responsible for the Annual inventory preparation and the counts
- This position requires a strong reliance on count accuracy, process control, product monitoring, movement coordination and reporting to operations management.
- Perform cycle counts and miscellaneous inventory audits to ensure all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company policy
- Ensure products are in proper locations, conduct searches to locate missing inventory
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventories
- Research and perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements
- Conduct third party vendor audits to agree quantity and part number for received material
- Execute assignments accurately and timely in a safe manner
- Prepare various reports relative to the cycle counting process
- Comply with a company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Participate in team/safety meetings
- Maintain the cleanliness and integrity of the facility through the 5s methodology
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Able to be flexible and demonstrate the ability to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in warehousing and forklift operation is required
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of Bartender labels software.
- Ability to use SAP or MRP applications
- Must be 18 years of age by the start of the position
- Able to operate an order picker and all other material handling equipment
- Able to perform work for a minimum of eight hours
- Able to walk, hear, see, and have full use of both hands
- Able to lift 5 - 50 lbs from floor to waist and waist to floor
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry out simple instructions from oral or written communications
- Excellent math and analytical skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication
- Understanding of basic inventory control procedures
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
