Job Description

Primary Purpose of this Job   Our Maintenance Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational in order to consistently meet production goals and our customers' needs.   Responsibilities
  • Use of diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes and other test instruments
  • Interpret electrical schematics, understanding technical manuals, and following written instructions
  • Remove, repair and reassemble machine components, including hydraulic and electro-mechanical
  • Performing preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start up and installation
  • Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work
  • Interface with all departments and other personnel in an effective and efficient manner
  • Self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Positively interface with fellow employees and customers in difficult situations
  • Contribute to the company and your team by identify and communicate project improvements opportunities
  • Follow company process and procedures to comply with ISO and AS9100 standards
  • Follow basic shop housekeeping rules, leaving work areas in a clean and orderly manner
  • General facility preventative and repair maintenance
  • Follow all company safety practices and rules
  • Authority to perform all tasks/activities responsible for
Basic Qualifications
  • At least three years of experience as a manufacturing plant Mechanical Maintenance Technician trouble shooting, maintaining and repairing industrial machines
  • Experience with Siemens 840D, and/Fanuc Controls and Drives
  • IME (Industrial Moving Equipment) License
  • Experience in PLC and/or CNC, and test equipment repair
  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Skilled in:
  • Able to express basic electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance work assignments
  • Solid mechanical aptitude of complex mechanical assemblies including precision measurements
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • An analytical and detail-oriented personality
  • The knowledge of conventional welding, carpentry and plumbing
  • Must be capable of working efficiently and effectively at any shift such as days or weekends, including irregular and unscheduled hours, if required for machine breakdown and time sensitive projects
