Buyer
The primary purpose of this job is to function as a liason between the company’s Engineering, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving departments. It is a focal point among all departments to effectively communicate and help meet project requirements through a careful review of capacity and scheduling of jobs
Responsibilities:
- Purchase products for demand and stock from assigned suppliers
- Plan and Pipeline inventory for low to medium-complex products
- Proactively expedite backlog
- Identify and update changes to the supplier open order reports
- Performs basic purchase order add and maintenance functions
- Perform stock rotations as defined in the supplier authorization agreements
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in business operations management or related technical field (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
