Assistant Project Manager
Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time team member for an Assistant Project Manager position.
The ideal candidate for this position must be self-motivated and enthusiastically willing to contribute to the team, support the lead Project Manager, work well with others, and possess excellent time management skills. Previous industry-specific experience is required (Pallet Racking & Warehouse Systems). Direct project management (installation/tear down of warehouse racking & racking systems) required.
This position will be working directly with the lead Project Manager, sales team, customers, and vendors to manage projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Support Project Manager in all projects
- Review project blueprints and help create project material lists
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for impeccable execution
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet client deadlines
- Work with Sales team to develop detailed project plans
- Ensure projects meet timeline expectations
- Manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Requirements:
- Previous Project Manager/Coordinator Experience –2 Years Required
- Direct Industry-Specific Experience (Installation / Teardown of Pallet Racking & Warehouse Systems) –3-5 Years Required
- Proficient in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, etc…)
- Individual has great judgment, takes initiative, and offers problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personality types
- Exceptional sense of urgency and work ethic
- Bilingual is a plus
