Admin Assistant / Bookkeeper - Part Time Role

Job Summary:
Admin Assistant will join an organically growing company working to address needs
in such cutting-edge technologies as Next-Generation Sequencing and drug discovery
The candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Word,
Excel, Outlook), QuickBooks Online, strong experience in various aspects of
accounting, financial record-keeping, in addition to flexibility in tackling various
administrative and office tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
•QuickBooks Online: AP;monthly bank reconciliation;reports
•Accounts receivables;collection activities and check applications
•Bookkeeping activities
•Customer communications
•Processing orders
•Prepare shipping paperwork
•Assist in preparing tax returns
•Sales reporting
•Ordering office supplies
•Potential for interfacing with our HR and Payroll partner
•Assist/managing in planning and organizing small events
Required Qualifications:
•2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a science- or technology-oriented
business
•Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
•Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook), and Acrobat
•Reliable, self-motivated, independent, adaptable, and versatile with an
enthusiastic collaborative spirit
•Excellent critical thinking skills
•An ability to manage multiple priorities and diverse responsibilities
•Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills
