Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the lead, foreman, or PGL. Reads and interprets procedures. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant and/or yard. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed.
• Know how to operate “ Scan Guns”
• Effectively communicate with other drivers and leads in the different businesses
• Continuously engage in Flex Activities and record activities in MPM
• Understand Flex Lead duties and fulfill position when needed
• Know how to input HOC and BBO into OneView and actively engage with these practices
• Listen and respond to instructions from Mentors and Leads in Material Handling
• Basic understanding of layout of facility
• Communicate effectively through radios on units with business etiquette
• Use material handling handbook for information first, then reach out to mentor for additional information
• Basic understanding of production folders and how they are used by material handling
• Adhere to material securement requirements
• Basic understanding of loading and unloading Tugger carts
