INSTRUMENT/PROCESS CONTROLS ENGINEER
Job Description:
- In-plant, long term need.
- Is a broad role with many areas of support –capital projects (identify, manage, and/or execute the instrument scope), daily operations, troubleshooting.
- Ability to work with the in-house designers, outside engineering, and construction contractors.
- The role does NOT require Siemens DCS programming ability. Client has teams for that work scope.
- Previous in-plant experience is helpful.
- Attendance to the daily plant operations meetings. This may yield items requiring immediate action and support.
- Address process controls and instrument issues as they arise.
- Site has limited staff. This engineer needs to be self-starter, have initiative, and be able to begin adding value quickly. Client will provide training, but the candidate must have a strong technical background.
- A mid-level and above engineer is requested.
